Giro Bike Helmets

Giro was Bell's major competition until 1995 when Bell bought Giro. The Giro name still exists, however, as does the unique style that brought Giro popularity in the first place. Giro and Bell share production facilities in Illinois and no doubt share bike helmet safety research as well. Giro bike helmets are known to be some of the most comfortable and well-designed bike helmets on the market. They have also introduced a line of helmets specifically designed for the dimensions of a woman's head. Of course, the better-fitted the helmet, the safer it is.
